Packs

Packs are fully onchain card prize pools. Packs contain a randomly selected set of three cards, selected by the contract when the pack is opened.

Mechanics

  • Packs are fully onchain collectibles themselves. They may be opened at any time to reveal three cards, or saved for later. Packs may also be sold on third party marketplaces.
  • Once opened, the outcome is computed onchain, instantly. There's no reveal phase and no waiting on an operator. The prizes you win are determined the moment your transaction lands, and they transfer to your wallet in that same transaction.
  • Results cannot be changed while a pack is being opened. Once your round is in flight, the prize pool is frozen. No one can alter what you were about to pull.
  • Packs can contain cards representing any ERC721 or ERC1155 digital collectibles.

Prize pool drawdown

The pack contract keeps an internal list of remaining cards. When cards are pulled and transferred to players, it's removed from this list. The pool shrinks as cards are pulled. There's no replenishment of cards. Remaining cards can be inspected on the contract.
